See More of Oahu Beyond Waikiki

Oahu sightseeing gets much more interesting once you leave the city behind. A guided tour can carry you from mountain lookouts to small beach towns, temples, farms, and North Shore surf country without turning the day into a constant round of driving, parking, and checking directions.

Depending on the route, you may stop at Nu'uanu Pali Lookout, Byodo-In Temple, Kualoa Ranch, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Haleiwa, Waimea Valley, or beaches along the North Shore. Some tours make the food part of the day too, with shrimp-truck lunches, coffee, macadamia nuts, fresh fruit, or a Dole Whip along the way.

A full circle-island tour gives you the broadest look at Oahu and usually fills most of the day. Shorter tours can keep the focus tighter, which is useful if you already know you want more time on the North Shore, in a particular valley, or around one part of the island.

Before booking, look at the actual stops rather than just the tour length. Pickup area, meal inclusions, walking, and how long you spend off the vehicle can make a big difference in how the day feels.
