Oahu unfolds one scenic stop and local flavor at a time on this full-day circle island tour from Waikiki. The route winds past dramatic coastlines, famous lookouts and the relaxed communities of the North Shore, with favorite island treats adding a delicious taste of Hawaii along the way.
The morning begins at the Amelia Earhart/Diamond Head Lookout, where broad views along Diamond Head Road offer a beautiful first glimpse of the coast. Continue past the Halona Blowhole Lookout, the sparkling waters of Hanauma Bay and the sweeping cliffs and ocean views at Makapuu Point.
Between scenic stops, enjoy poi-glazed donuts from Kamehameha Bakery, sample local coffee and flavored macadamia nuts at a Macadamia Nut Farm, and taste a fresh fruit sampler from a roadside stand. Lunch is included at a famous North Shore shrimp truck, one of Oahu's most talked-about local food experiences.
The journey also includes a classic view of Mokolii (Chinaman's Hat) Island and a stop at Pua'ena Point, a popular resting area for Hawaiian green sea turtles, although sightings are not guaranteed. The final stop is Dole Pineapple Plantation, home of the popular Dole Whip dessert.
