An Oahu photography tour gives the day a route with the light in mind. Instead of guessing where to stop, you follow a guide to shoreline views, lookout points, mountain backdrops, offshore islands, banyan trees, sandbars and wildlife areas that photograph well at the right time of day.

Current options include complete island photo tours with sunrise or Waimea Valley waterfall, a Beautiful Colors of Hawaii route along the east shore, a sunrise tour with malasada, a Honolulu sea cliff sunset tour and a sunset and light-painting tour after dark.

Choose by tour length, start time, scenery and how much of the island you want to cover. Some routes are early and long, while others focus on a shorter window of sunrise, sunset, sea cliffs or night photography.
