Oahu Grand Circle Island Tour
Circle Oahu with Polynesian Adventure Tours on a full-day sightseeing tour featuring Byodo-In Temple, Waimea Valley, North Shore beaches, Haleiwa and Dole Plantation.
Leave Waikiki behind for a full-day journey that circles Oahu's 120-mile coastline and touches every corner of the island. The route begins on the south shore with photo stops at Diamond Head lookout and the sea-spray spectacle of Halona Blowhole. Crossing to the lush windward side, you'll pause at Nu'uanu Pali for sweeping views of sheer cliffs and turquoise reefs before stepping into the serene grounds of Byodo-In Temple, set beneath the towering Ko'olau Mountains.
Continuing north, the road hugs a shoreline dotted with little coves and offshore islets until it reaches the legendary big-wave beaches of Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay. A stop at Waimea Valley lets you stroll through botanical gardens to a waterfall pool where swimming is encouraged when conditions allow, or you may ride a leisurely tram for an additional fee. After a break for lunch on your own, the tour rolls through historic Haleiwa Town and pineapple fields that lead to the Dole Plantation for a taste of island agriculture and a browse through the gift shop.
