About Pacific Whale Foundation - Whale Watch Sail Lahaina
Head out from Lahaina Harbor aboard Ocean Spirit for a winter whale watching sail along the West Maui coastline. During humpback whale season, the surrounding waters become an important gathering area, giving you the chance to see blows, tail flukes, breaches and other surface activity from the catamaran.
Certified marine naturalists are on board to explain humpback whale migration, biology and behavior throughout the trip. Underwater hydrophones may also be used to listen for whale songs beneath the surface, while younger guests can take part in the Jr. Naturalist program for a more hands-on introduction to these seasonal visitors.

The Ocean Spirit was custom designed and features streamlined hulls and a spacious deck design, providing the ultimate in passenger comfort. The extra large deck offers plenty of outdoor seating. The vessel features his and her bathrooms, padded seating and a surround sound system. Although the Ocean Spirit has a capacity of 90 passengers, Pacific Whale Foundation limits the number of passengers by cruise type to provide an open yachting experience with plenty of room to relax.
