About Pacific Whale Foundation - Classic Whale Watch Cruise
Spend two hours on the waters off Maui during humpback whale season, watching for some of the largest animals in the Pacific from the deck of a comfortable power catamaran. Certified marine naturalists are on board to explain whale migration, behavior and ongoing conservation work while the crew searches for activity on the horizon.
When whales are nearby, the captain slows the vessel for a better view and hydrophones may be lowered into the water so you can listen for their songs beneath the surface. Keep an eye out for tail slaps, pectoral waves, blows and the occasional breach during the cruise.
Children can also take part in the onboard Junior Naturalist Program, which adds hands-on learning and whale-focused activities to the experience.

Check in 45 minutes prior to your selected tour time at the Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Store at the Maui Harbor Shops, which shares a parking lot with Maui Ocean Center, located at 192 Maalaea Rd, Wailuku (GPS address). View Map
Parking is paid throughout the harbor. Please review signage upon arrival.
Restrictions
There are no specific restrictions for this activity.
Wheelchairs: Due to the design of Pacific Whale Foundation vessels none of the vessels are truly wheelchair accessible. Some vessels have really high steps so it is not suggested even with assistance to board from another member of your group due to the fact that vessel type is subject to change without notice.
Special Notes
Affordable rentals of binoculars and cameras are available. Snacks and refreshments (soda, juice, Maui Brewing Co. beer and wine) are available for purchase. Alcoholic beverages are for adults 21+ (must have valid picture ID).
