About Circle M Ranch - Morning or Afternoon Horseback Ride

Meet friendly paniolos at the corral, match up with a gentle horse, and follow rolling pasture trails toward Waihe'e Valley and the sea. Morning rides greet the day with cool breezes and soft island light, while afternoon departures bathe ranchland and coastline in Maui's warm glow. At every turn you trade nods with West Maui's peaks, Central Maui's patchwork fields, and distant Haleakalā standing sentinel on the horizon.
Your guide shares paniolo lore and keeps an eye out for photo stops where Pacific blues frame your saddle-top view. Whether you're new to the reins or an experienced rider itching for open space, the pace stays relaxed and the scenery steals the show.

Where & When
Morning Ride: Check in at 8:45 am. Departs at 9:00 am and returns at 11:00 am.
Afternoon Ride: Check in at 12:15 pm. Departs at 12:30 pm and returns at 2:30 pm.

Driving Directions from Lahaina (West Maui)
-Take Hwy 30 South towards Wailuku
-In Wailuku turn right on Hwy 32 (also known as Main Street)
-Go down 2 blocks and turn left on North Market Street
-This will become Hwy 33 and then become Hwy 340 (Once you turn onto North Market Street, do not turn anymore)
-Maui Trail Rides is located right before the #7 mile marker
Note: Approx. driving time is 45 minutes but allow yourself extra time for traffic.
Driving Directions from Kihei & Wailea (South Maui)
-Take Hwy31
-At the intersection of Hwy 30 & 310, turn right onto Hwy 30 (this will take you to Wailuku)
-In Wailuku turn right on Hwy 32 (also known as Main Street)
-Go down 2 blocks and turn left on North Market Street
-This will become Hwy 33 and then become Hwy 340 (Once you turn onto North Market Street, do not turn anymore)
-Maui Trail Rides is located right before the #7 mile marker
Note:Approx. driving time is 30 minutes from Kihei and 40 minutes from Wailea but allow yourself extra time for traffic.
Driving Directions from Kahului (Central Maui)
-From Hana Hwy 36
-Turn right on Kahului Beach Road
-Turn right on Waiehu Beach Road
-Turn right on Hwy 30
-Maui Trail Rides is located right before the #7 mile marker
Note: Approx. driving time is 15 minutes but allow yourself extra time for traffic.
Restrictions
Must be at least 7 years old to participate.
Maximum weight is 230 lbs (104 kg).
Minors must be accompanied by an adult/guardian on tour.
Circle M Ranch takes the safety of riders and horses seriously. Height and weight requirements must be followed for the protection of both guests and horses. Guests who do not meet these requirements may be denied participation, and refunds are not provided in such cases.
No prior horseback riding experience is required, but guests should have the physical ability to independently mount a horse from a mounting block. This requires strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Guides will provide instructions and assistance with preparation, but they are unable to physically lift guests onto a horse.
Guests with health concerns, mobility limitations or physical conditions that may affect their ability to safely mount, ride or dismount should mention this during the booking process. Circle M Ranch reserves the right to deny participation to any guest who is unable to safely take part in the ride.
