About Expeditions - 4x4 Trekker Tour
Ride the ferry from Maui to Lanai, then explore the island by 4x4 on a half-day guided trekker tour with rugged roads, quiet scenery and local island highlights.
Trade Maui's bustle for the quiet of Lanai on this full-day adventure. Your morning starts at Maalaea Harbor, where the Expeditions ferry boards for a 75-minute cruise across the Auau Channel. Keep your camera ready—on clear days you'll spot Molokai, Kahoolawe and the ridges of West Maui along the way.
Docking at Manele Harbor, you'll meet your local guide and climb into an air-conditioned 4x4. Over the next three and a half hours, bump along red-dirt roads to remote beaches, ironwood forests and the otherworldly boulder fields of Garden of the Gods. Stories of ancient chiefs, shipwrecks and plantation days bring the island's quiet landscapes to life.
Back at Manele Harbor you can choose the early ferry to Maui at 1:00 pm or linger, grab lunch at the Four Seasons Lanai and catch the 5:30 pm sailing instead.

You can choose your preferred return time when making your reservation.
Passengers must check in 45 minutes prior to departure time. BOARDING CLOSES 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
You must pick up your tickets from the Expeditions ferry booth.
When you arrive on Lanai, look for your tour guide holding a sign with your last name.
