Hike Maui – Ultimate Hana Full Day Adventure

Spend the day deep in East Maui with a combination of the Road to Hana and one of Haleakala National Park’s most rewarding rainforest hikes. Your guide takes care of the long, winding drive, leaving you free to watch the coastline change through sea cliffs, waterfalls and tropical valleys on the way to Kipahulu.

From the trailhead, the Pipiwai Trail leads you through a completely different side of Maui. The hike passes banyan trees, streams and a dense bamboo forest before opening toward a series of waterfalls, including the dramatic 400-foot Waimoku Falls. Along the way, your guide points out native plants and shares stories about the area while you take in the scenery at a comfortable pace.

After the hike, the journey continues around East Maui so you can experience more of the island beyond the standard out-and-back Hana route. It is a long, active day, but one filled with rainforest, waterfalls, coastal views and plenty of time away from the busier resort areas.
