About Hike Maui - Waterfall & Rainforest Hiking Adventure
Leave the coast behind and follow the Road to Hana into one of East Maui’s lush waterfall valleys. This 2.5-mile hike follows two clear streams through tropical forest, with several waterfalls appearing along the route and plenty of time to enjoy the cooler mountain air.
Depending on conditions, you may see three to five waterfalls ranging from about 10 to 40 feet high. Deep pools below the falls offer a refreshing place to swim, and more adventurous guests can climb volcanic rock ledges for optional jumps of about 10 to 15 feet into the water.
Your guide stays with you throughout the hike, sharing details about Maui’s rainforest and helping you navigate the trail, stream crossings and waterfall areas along the way.

Where & When
Tour time: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Meet at 9:30 am at Kahului Park & Ride (View Map). The Park & Ride meeting location is along a large concrete wall with a single row of parking facing Hwy 380 west of Hwy 311.
Hotel Roundtrip Transportation
Roundtrip transportation between the meeting location and south or west side hotels is available for an additional fee. If you select roundtrip transportation, pick-up from your hotel is around 8:00-8:30 am. The exact pick-up time will be emailed with your confirmation. Please note: Roundtrip transportation is not available from properties north of the Royal Lahaina Resort.
Private tours include roundtrip hotel transfers.
Restrictions
Participants must be at least 6 years old.
Cancellation policy:
Private tours are subject to a 72-hour cancellation policy, except during the holiday period of December 20 through January 5, which carries a one-week cancellation period. Our standard 48-hour cancellation policy applies to non-private tours.
