Maui Horseback Riding

Maui horseback riding sets a quieter pace, with ranch trails, ocean air, West Maui mountain views and open country north of Wailuku. Saddle up at Circle M Ranch for a guided ride where Central Maui, Waihee Valley and the coastline come into view from horseback.

About this experience

Maui Horseback Riding

Your Maui Horseback Ride

A Maui horseback ride slows the day into hoofbeats, ranch roads and wide views. Instead of rushing between beach stops, you follow the trail through open country with the West Maui Mountains on one side and the ocean drawing the eye in the distance.

Current Maui horseback riding options include Circle M Ranch, formerly Mendes Ranch, located north of Wailuku. The ride runs about 2 hours and follows an oceanfront ranch trail with views of Central Maui, Waihee Valley, the West Maui Mountains and the coast.

Choose by ride time, comfort level, age rules and how much time you want in the saddle. Wear closed-toe shoes, check weight and rider requirements, and bring clothes that can handle sun, dust and ranch weather.
