About Kohala Eco Ventures - Kohala UTV Adventure
Ride through North Kohala with Kohala Eco Ventures on a guided UTV adventure featuring rugged trails, scenic viewpoints and Big Island ranch country.
Buckle up in a five-seat off-road vehicle and rumble along the rim of Pololu Valley, where sheer cliffs give way to rolling ranchlands and mist-draped forest. The trail winds past murmuring streams and hidden waterfalls while your guide shares legends of North Kohala's chiefs, including stories of King Kamehameha the Great who once found refuge in this rugged landscape.
Because the route crosses private property, you'll gain rare access to untouched stretches of coastline and verdant gulches that remain kapu to all but invited guests. It's an easygoing ride packed with postcard scenery, local history and plenty of stops for photos and storytelling before returning to headquarters for a well-earned snack.
