Step onto Hoku Nui, a 50-foot luxury catamaran with wide decks and 360-degree views, then glide south from Keauhou Bay along Kona's lava-carved shoreline. Your first stop is the crystal water of Kealakekua Bay, a marine sanctuary famous for bright coral gardens, spinner dolphins and the white obelisk honoring Captain Cook. After an hour of snorkeling, the crew sets out a hearty buffet lunch while sails billow toward Red Hill, where underwater lava arches shelter colorful reef fish for a second snorkel session.
