Go Adventure Hawaii – Pelagic Shark Dive

Head about three miles off Oahu’s North Shore for an open-ocean shark snorkel with no cage between you and the water. Before entering, a trained safety diver explains how to position yourself, stay calm and move comfortably so you know what to expect once you are in the water.

Depending on the day, you may see Galapagos, sandbar or tiger sharks moving through the clear blue below. Other marine life can also pass through the area, including tuna, mahi mahi, barracuda and dolphins. During winter, humpback whales may be heard or seen in the distance as they migrate through Hawaii’s waters.

Throughout the tour, the crew shares information about shark behavior and biology, giving you a better understanding of the animals you are watching rather than simply treating the encounter as a thrill ride.
