Waikiki Dive Center – Shipwrecks & Coral Reefs Certified Two Tank Boat Dive

About Waikiki Dive Center - Shipwrecks & Coral Reefs Certified Two Tank Boat Dive

Dive Oahu's south shore with Waikiki Dive Center on a certified two-tank morning boat dive, visiting deep shipwrecks and shallower coral reefs.

Waikiki Dive Center 4 hours

Descend into Oahu's maritime history on a small-group morning dive that pairs a deep-water shipwreck with a shallower natural reef. After checking in at the dive shop and getting fitted with gear, the group heads to the boat for departure from Kewalo Basin Harbor or Maunalua Bay, depending on your boat.

This certified two-tank dive is suited for experienced divers who have been diving within the past year. Common wreck sites include the Sea Tiger, San Pedro and YO-257, each with its own story beneath the surface.

The Sea Tiger is Oahu's deepest recreational shipwreck dive site. Ask your tour guide about the boat's intriguing history involving 93 Chinese immigrants. The vessel YO-257 had its glory days during World War II and the Korean War. The San Pedro was a Korean fishing company boat that caught fire back in the 1970s off the South Point.

The second dive may visit Kewalo Pipe/Horseshow Reef, where large schools of barracuda, impressive coral formations and some of the largest morays around Oahu can be seen.
