About Kualoa Ranch - Best of Kualoa Experience Package
Make a full day of Kualoa Ranch with three different tours that show off the property from completely different angles. You’ll move from famous movie locations to ancient Hawaiian fishponds and tropical gardens, then finish with a rugged ride into Hakipu'u Valley, with a ranch buffet lunch included between activities.
The Best of Kualoa Experience brings together the Movie Sites & Ranch Tour, Kualoa Grown Tour and Jungle Expedition in one package. By the end of the day, you’ve seen the ranch as a filming location, a working agricultural landscape and a place deeply connected to Hawaiian history and culture.

Movie Sites & Ranch Tour
Ride into Ka'a'awa Valley aboard a vintage school bus and visit filming locations used in well-known movies and television shows. Along the way, you’ll see Godzilla's footprints, the battlefield from Windtalkers and locations connected to Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, George of the Jungle and LOST.
Tour duration: 1.5 hours
Kualoa Grown Tour
Travel by trolley to an 800-year-old Hawaiian fishpond covering 153 acres, one of Oahu's best-preserved examples of traditional Hawaiian aquaculture. You’ll learn how fish were raised in old Hawaii, then continue through tropical fruit and flower gardens near the fishpond and along the shoreline fronting Secret Island.
Tour duration: 1.5 hours
Jungle Expedition
Climb aboard a 6-wheel-drive Swiss Pinzgauer for a rougher ride through Hakipu'u Valley. The route crosses stream beds, climbs uneven terrain and includes a short walk to a viewpoint overlooking the windward coast and surrounding tropical valleys.
Tour duration: 1.5 hours
Restrictions: Expectant mothers and guests with back problems are not advised to participate in this tour.
Requirements: Children must be at least 3 years old to participate.
Buffet Lunch
- Full salad bar includes: 2 choices of greens, 3 types of salad dressings, 9 different condiments, macaroni salad and fruit
- Hot line includes: teriyaki chicken, BBQ pork ribs, Kualoa grown beef chili, steamed white rice & buttered corn
- Vegetarian option: Tofu stir-fry
- Chef's choice of dessert
*Buffet Lunch: All items except the macaroni salad and dessert are gluten free. Please select if you will have the standard buffet or would like to substitute that for a tofu stir-fry. If you do not make a selection you will automatically be reserved with the standard buffet.

Transportation
If you select transportation, you will be given one of the below pick-ups that are closest to you:
Pick-up at the Twin Fin Hotel (outside the entrance on Paoakalani Ave) at 7:00 am.
Pick-up at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel (at Aloha Landing bus depot) at 7:15 am.
Pick-up at the Aqua Palms Hotel (1850 Ala Moana Blvd) at 7:30 am.
Please arrive at your pick-up location 15 minutes early for these departure times.
Return transportation will be leaving Kualoa Ranch at 3:45 pm.
Drive Out
Kualoa Ranch is about 45-60 minutes from Waikiki. Take the H-1 Freeway west to the Likelike Highway, Route #63. Proceed up the Likelike Highway and through the Wilson Tunnel. Descend towards Kaneohe town and exit onto Kahekili Highway, Route #83, heading north. Continue along Kahekili Highway - note that the road becomes Kamehameha Highway as you pass the historic "Hygienic Store" in Kahalu'u. In about 10 minutes you will see signs indicating you are approaching the Kualoa Ranch entrance which will be on your left as you round the curve past Mokoli'i Island (Chinaman's Hat).

Restrictions
A Photo ID (drivers license, state ID or passport) matching the name on the reservation is required for check-in. If a guest does not have their Photo ID matching their reservation they will not be able to check in and no refunds or reschedules will be available. The Guest's name CANNOT be changed once a booking is created.
All guests must attend a briefing and sign a liability waiver before tour begins.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at check-in to sign the liability waiver.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult on all tours.

Jungle Expedition Restrictions:
Minimum age of 3 years.
No guests with back issues.
Pregnant women may not participate.
