About Super Raft Whale Watching Adventure
Head out on the Kona Explorer, a 41-foot Super Raft built for a quick, comfortable whale watch along the Big Island’s west coast. During humpback season, the captain uses the boat’s speed and maneuverability to follow the action while keeping clear views open across the water.
There is plenty of room to settle in, with cushioned seating, shade and an onboard restroom making the ride easy to enjoy. As whales surface, breach or slap their tails, the crew shares information about humpback behavior and what you are seeing along the way.
Snacks and soft drinks are included, and beer or canned cocktails are available for purchase. The combination of a faster raft and added comfort makes this a nice middle ground between a small adventure boat and a larger sightseeing vessel.

Tour time:

Check in at 1:00 pm at the Body Glove Cruises' Retail Store, located at the Ilima Court Shopping Center at 75-5629 Kuakini Hwy., Kailua Kona, HI 96740. The boat departs from the left side of Kailua Kona Pier, which is located within walking distance from the Ilima Court Shopping Center. Parking is free.

No children under the age of 6 years.
Pregnant women or people with regular back or neck pain may not participate.
Guests will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to boarding.
