About Certified Beach Night Dive (1 Tank)
Head out after sunset for a guided Hilo coast night dive with local snacks, juices and a small group of certified divers.
Trade Oahu for Kauai for a full day of famous filming locations, dramatic scenery and stories from the screen. This all-inclusive neighbor island tour begins with early morning Waikiki hotel pick-up and includes roundtrip airfare, ground transportation and an evening return to Oahu.
Kauai has appeared in dozens of Hollywood movies and television shows, but the real landscapes are even more impressive in person. Travel aboard an air-conditioned minibus while your guide shares lively commentary and shows film clips connected to the locations you visit.
From waterfalls and coastal lookouts to small towns and historic resort grounds, the route reveals how Kauai has been transformed into tropical islands, distant jungles and unforgettable movie settings. In Hanalei Town, enjoy time for lunch on your own at one of the local eateries before continuing the tour.

Once checked in at the dive shop, transportation will be provided to the dive site.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 12 years
Maximum age: 64 years
All divers must be at least advanced open water certified and have a SCUBA diver certification card.
Experience level: Advanced open water certified divers only. Prior night diving experience is recommended. Divers should be comfortable navigating with a dive light and managing shore entries in low-light conditions. Refresher mandatory if inactive for 2+ years.
All divers must be in good health with no recent injuries, pregnancies, back or neck issues. Those with lung issues or other major medical issues should contact Hilo Ocean Adventures before booking.
Night dives involve limited visibility outside your dive light and require strong awareness of buoyancy, navigation, and footing during entry and exit. Divers should be comfortable carrying gear, walking on uneven terrain, and entering and exiting the water over lava rock.
No diving and driving or flying to altitudes of 2,500+ feet after dives for 12 hours (1 tank).
Trips go rain or shine, unless Hilo Ocean Adventures must cancel for the safety of guests.
Minors 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Diving gear is available for rent. It is not included unless you choose the Add Diving Gear option.
A refresher course is mandatory if your last dive was 2+ years ago. This fee is in addition to the basic tour price.
Special Notes
Water temperature: 75 to 80 °F (24 to 27 °C). A 3 mm wetsuit is recommended year-round.
