Class size tops out at four students per instructor, so you never wait long for pointers. Your coach positions you for each swell, gives a gentle push and calls out foot placement the second your board lifts. Most first-timers stand within a few rides, and a staff photographer floats close by to catch proof of every grin. Family packages welcome kids as young as five, mixing sand-castle breaks with shorter paddles in the gentle shore break.
