Hans Hedemann Surf School – Surfing in Waikiki Group Lesson

Learn to surf at Waikiki Beach, where the gentle rolling waves make it easier to get comfortable on the board and start building confidence in the water. Your instructor begins on the sand with a quick safety talk and the basics of paddling, positioning and standing up before everyone heads out to practice.

The small-group setup keeps the lesson friendly and gives you plenty of chances to get feedback as you work on catching waves. Along the way, you’ll also learn basic ocean etiquette and how to read the break so the experience feels less intimidating and more natural as the session goes on.
