Hans Hedemann Surf School – Surfing in Waikiki Group Lesson

Waikiki's gentle, rolling waves have lured beginners for generations, and this two-hour group class is designed to help you join them. After meeting your instructor on the sand, you'll hear a brief safety talk, learn the basics of paddling and pop-ups, then head into waist-deep water to catch your first ride. Small group sizes mean plenty of personal attention, whether you're brand new or brushing up on old skills. By the end of the session, you'll understand ocean etiquette, feel comfortable reading the break and, with a little luck, stand up and glide toward Diamond Head for the first time.
