About Kailua Beach Adventures - Twin Islands Guided Kayak Tour
Paddle from Kailua Beach to the Mokulua Islands on a guided kayak tour with a tide-pool hike to Queen's Bath, Lanikai Beach time, lunch and gear included.
Strong paddlers head for adventure on this full-morning journey across Kailua Bay to the Mokulua Islands, affectionately called the "Twins." After a safety briefing and route overview, launch from Kailua Beach and glide for about an hour toward Moku Nui, a protected seabird sanctuary where green sea turtles often feed in the shallows. Land on a small stretch of sand and follow your guide on a short eco hike to Queen's Bath, a tide-pool carved into volcanic rock and alive with rock crabs, rainbow runners and other reef creatures.
Back in the kayak, continue to Lanikai's postcard-perfect beach for a picnic lunch. There's time to swim, snorkel or ride gentle shore break before the final paddle home. Showers and changing rooms await at the shop so you finish the day salt-free and smiling.
