About Roberts Hawaii Shore Excursions - Heavenly Hana Adventure Tour
Settle in for one of Maui's most memorable road trips as the journey follows the lush northeastern coast toward Hana. Although the Road to Hana stretches just 68 miles, more than 600 curves and 59 narrow bridges turn the drive into a leisurely adventure filled with tropical forests, rugged coastline and waterfalls spilling through the greenery.
With an expert driver at the wheel, you can relax and enjoy the scenery while stopping at beautiful lookout points along the way. From famous north shore surf beaches and black lava coastline to taro fields, rainforest pools and the black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park, each stop reveals another side of Maui's remarkable landscape.
Tour Highlights
- Hookipa Beach Lookout* – Maui's famous north shore surfing beaches, where waves reach 25+ feet in the winter months
- Kaumahina State Wayside Park* – enjoy views of Maui's rugged coastline at this forest park, which is also home to beautiful exotic plants
- Keanae Lookout & Peninsula* – see Maui's diverse landscape, ranging from a rocky black lava coast to opulent green Hawaiian taro fields
- Waikani Falls – also known as the "Three Bears Falls," this popular waterfall is made up of three parallel waterfalls cascading from as high as 1,000 feet into the pool below
- Puaa Kaa Wayside State Park – tropical rainforest with gorgeous waterfalls, lush tropical foliage and natural pools
- Waianapanapa State Park* – meaning "glistening fresh water" in Hawaiian, this picturesque park boasts a native hala forest, a natural stone arch, blowholes, freshwater streams, a legendary cave, sparkling pools and a black sand beach
- "Heavenly" Hana Town – picturesque town is home to Piilanihale Heiau, the largest heiau (temple) in Hawaii
- Palikea Stream – largest perennial stream on Maui

Where & When
Departs Kahului Harbor at 8:30 am. Returns at 5:30 pm. Look for a green Roberts Hawaii bus.
Restrictions
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made outside of 48 hours from service day are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours from service day are non-refundable. If you would like to make a change to your reservation outside of 48 hours, if there is availability, we may be able to accommodate. Tour involves moderate walking. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
Special Notes
Children under the age of 4 years old are complimentary if they can be securely held on their guardian's lap. We do not provide child seats. If the guardian requires a seat for the child under the age of 4, the regular rate will be applicable.
The Road to Hana has stretches with uneven surfaces which at times may produce a rough ride.
