About Wings Over Kauai - Cessna Tour
See Kauai from above on a 65-minute Cessna flight that gives you a more intimate look at the Garden Isle's valleys, waterfalls and rugged coastline. Departing from Lihue, the route covers both famous landmarks and remote scenery that cannot be reached by road.
The flight heads southwest toward Kipu Kai before continuing to Hanapepe Valley and the Jurassic Park waterfall when weather permits. From there, soar above Waimea Canyon and follow the Na Pali Coast past hidden bays, waterfalls, sea caves and towering cliffs.
The journey also includes Hanalei Bay, Bali Hai and the waterfalls behind Hanalei Valley before reaching the crater below Mt. Wai'ale'ale. During the winter season, you may also spot humpback whales in the waters surrounding Kauai.

Driving directions: Bear left at the 3 flags and turn right at the Air Service Hawaii sign. Free parking is available. The Wings Over Kauai customer counter is located behind the area of orange seats in the terminal facing the parking lot (no sign outside the terminal).

Total passenger weight per party (up to 3 passengers) must be under 475 lbs (215 kg)

Travelers arriving on a cruise ship: You can catch a taxi from the cruise ship port. The Wings Over Kauai check-in office is only a 5 minute drive up the hill.

Equipment
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk comfortably carries 2 passengers, one in the front co-pilot seat and the other one in the back seat. This plane can carry up to 3 passengers in total, however, the total weight for your party must be a maximum of 475 lbs. The plane is equipped with an interactive communication system with noise canceling headsets that give you the opportunity to share your experience with each other and the pilot in a more private setting.
