About Wings Over Kauai - Cessna Tour

Kauai's valleys, waterfalls and famous coastline spread out below on this 65-minute Cessna flight designed for a more personal island experience. It is a wonderful choice for couples who want to see the Garden Isle from above, including both its best-known landmarks and scenery hidden far beyond the roads.
Departing from Lihue, the flight heads southwest toward Kipu Kai, the beach featured in 6 Days and 7 Nights, before continuing to the famous Jurassic Park waterfall in Hanapepe Valley when weather permits. From there, soar above Waimea Canyon, known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," and follow the rugged Na Pali Coast past inaccessible bays, waterfalls, sea caves and towering cliffs.
The journey continues over Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai, with views of the many waterfalls behind Hanalei Valley and the crater below Mt. Wai'ale'ale. During the winter months, humpback whales may also be seen in Kauai's surrounding waters.

Driving directions: Bear left at the 3 flags and turn right at the Air Service Hawaii sign. Free parking is available. The Wings Over Kauai customer counter is located behind the area of orange seats in the terminal facing the parking lot (no sign outside the terminal).

Travelers arriving on a cruise ship: You can catch a taxi from the cruise ship port. The Wings Over Kauai check-in office is only a 5 minute drive up the hill.

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk comfortably carries 2 passengers, one in the front co-pilot seat and the other one in the back seat. This plane can carry up to 3 passengers in total, however, the total weight for your party must be a maximum of 475 lbs. The plane is equipped with an interactive communication system with noise canceling headsets that give you the opportunity to share your experience with each other and the pilot in a more private setting.
