Dolphin Discoveries – Kona Snorkel Adventure

About Dolphin Discoveries - Kona Snorkel Adventure

Snorkel the Kona coast with Dolphin Discoveries on a Kona Snorkel Adventure featuring clear water, reef scenery, marine life and Big Island shoreline views.

Dolphin Discoveries 4 hours

Two of Kona's most beautiful snorkel bays come together in one ocean adventure filled with coral reefs, Hawaiian history and the chance to see some of the Big Island's most memorable marine life. The first stop is Kealakekua Bay, known for its clear water, vibrant reef and the Captain Cook Monument along the shoreline.

From there, continue to Honaunau Bay near the historical Place of Refuge. This protected area is known for calm conditions, excellent visibility and colorful coral formations, with Hawaiian green sea turtles frequently seen moving through the water.

After snorkeling, the tour continues along the coast in search of local marine mammals. Possible sightings include spinner, spotted and bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales and humpback whales during the winter season. Along the way, enjoy views of sea caves, lava tubes and blowholes carved into the Kona shoreline.
