Wasabi Tours – Big Island Waterfalls Adventure

Spend the day chasing waterfalls and exploring the lush Hamakua Coast on a guided Big Island adventure. After traveling past the historic Parker Ranch area, stop at Waipio Valley Lookout for sweeping views of steep green cliffs, the ocean and the long black sand beach below.

The tour continues to Akaka Falls, where a short rainforest walk leads to one of the island's tallest and most recognizable waterfalls. From there, explore Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve & Garden at Onomea Bay, with winding trails, streams, waterfalls and a huge variety of tropical plants and orchids.

Later, visit Rainbow Falls in Hilo before heading to Kulaniapia Falls, a private 120-foot waterfall where swimming may be possible when river conditions are safe. The return trip follows Saddle Road between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, giving you another look at the Big Island's dramatic landscape before the day ends.
