Wasabi Tours – Big Island Grand Circle Island Tour

About Big Island Grand Circle Island Tour

Travel across the Big Island with Wasabi Tours on a full-day circle island tour featuring Kona coffee, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, waterfalls and Waipio Valley views.

Wasabi Tours Hawaii 11-12 hours

Cross the Big Island from Kona coffee country to volcanic craters, black sand shores, rainforest waterfalls and the dramatic cliffs of Waipio Valley. This full-day guided tour reveals the island's remarkable variety, including 8 of the world's 13 climate zones and landscapes shaped by fire, water and tropical growth.

The journey begins at a Kona coffee farm, where you'll walk through the orchards, learn about harvesting and milling, and enjoy a fresh cup of world-famous Kona coffee. Continuing south, take in distant views of Kealakekua Bay and South Point, the southernmost point of the United States.

At Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, look for Hawaiian green sea turtles resting along the shore. Then enter Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to see steam vents, lava fields and the Halema'uma'u and Kilauea Iki crater lookouts. A short hike leads through the 600-foot-long Nahuku Lava Tube, formed hundreds of years ago.

Later in the day, visit Akaka Falls, a 442-foot cascade surrounded by lush jungle, and Rainbow Falls, framed by a giant banyan tree. The tour finishes with sweeping views of Waipio Valley, where steep green cliffs descend toward the ocean.
