Where & When
Pick-up and return is from Kona hotels. Available departure times are 9:00 am, 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Restrictions
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made outside of 48 hours from service day are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours from service day are non-refundable.
Altitude Warning:
Maunakea Observatory is 9,200 feet (2,800 m) above sea level. Due to the elevation, please carefully review the health conditions before booking.

Due to the health risks associated with high altitude, the following individuals are not eligible for this tour:

Pregnant women
Participants must not have engaged in scuba diving within 24 hours of the tour

This 6-hour private tour is fully customizable within your designated tour time and includes two pre-determined stops at Maunakea Onizuka Observatory.
The amount of time spent at each stop within the 6-hour charter is customizable. Drive time to Mauna Kea from Kona is 1.5 hours on average each way.
