The quarter-mile trail crosses shallow streams and pockets of ankle-deep mud before reaching both cascades. Snap photos at Bamboo Falls, then slip behind the curtain of Papakolea for an unforgettable shower in a natural grotto. The hike is rated moderate; guests eight and older who can handle a few slippery steps usually find it well within reach.
