About Makani Catamaran - Sunset Sail
Sail along Waikiki Beach aboard the Makani Catamaran on a 2-hour sunset cruise with Honolulu, Diamond Head and evening ocean views.
Watch Waikiki glow in the colors of sunset aboard Makani, a spacious catamaran designed for a relaxed evening on the water. Settle into the roomy cabin, order a drink from the onboard bar or stretch out on the lounging net as the shoreline begins to shimmer in the fading light.
As the sail continues, enjoy beautiful views of Honolulu, Waikiki and Diamond Head. Keep watch for green sea turtles and dolphins, along with humpback whales during the winter whale watch season.

May - August: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm (except on Fridays when the sail is from 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm)

Roundtrip transportation from Waikiki:
Roundtrip transportation is available from Waikiki area hotels for an additional fee. If you book your tour with transportation, the exact hotel pick-up time and location will be emailed with your confirmation.
Parking instructions for guests arriving by car:
There is ample meter parking near the east end of the harbor. The parking site next to the boat is being used for a function all day on every Friday. There is a parking lot located at 919 Ala Moana Blvd as the alternate parking lot (see map). If you are booking the tour on a Friday, please allow extra time to park and walk to the harbor.

The state-of-the-art Makani Catamaran features covered and open air seating (semi-enclosed main cabin area), a Bose Surround Sound Stereo System and two forward lounging nets. The 64-foot catamaran is United States Coast Guard certified. Dual restrooms are available on board.
