About Magnum Doors Off Helicopter Adventure
Fly over Oahu with Magnum Helicopters on a 50-minute doors-off helicopter route from Honolulu Airport, with open-air views of Keehi Lagoon, Honolulu Harbor, Waikiki, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Waimanalo, Kaneohe Bay, Ka'a'awa Valley, Sacred Falls, the North Shore, Dole Plantation and Pearl Harbor.
See Oahu from a completely different perspective on a doors-off helicopter flight that sweeps from Honolulu's waterfront to remote waterfalls, famous beaches and historic landmarks. The adventure begins above Keehi Lagoon and Honolulu Harbor, with aerial views of Aloha Tower and the downtown highrises before continuing toward Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island and Waikiki Beach.
Fly past surfers and pleasure craft off Waikiki, then continue over Diamond Head, Kahala and Hanauma Bay. As the helicopter rounds the southeast end of the island, take in the rugged coastline, Sandy Beach, Makapuu Point and lighthouse, Sea Life Park and the long white sand shoreline of Waimanalo.
The route continues above Mount Olomana, Kailua, Kaneohe and the coral formations of Kaneohe Bay. Look for Coconut Island, used in the opening shot of the TV classic Gilligan's Island, and the peaceful waters of the Kaneohe Bay fishpond, originally constructed by ancient Hawaiians.
One of the most dramatic views comes into sight above storied Jurassic Park (Kaaawa) valley, where scenes from a dozen major motion pictures have been filmed. The flight also reveals remote Sacred Falls, a delicate 1,000-foot cascade that can only be seen from the air.
Continue along Oahu's North Shore for sweeping views of Sunset Beach, Pipeline and Waimea Bay. On the return across the island's central plain, see the Dole pineapple maze and the "birthing stones" of Hawaiian royalty before the tour concludes above Pearl Harbor, the Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri.
