About Pacific Whale Foundation - Maui Snorkel & Sunset Sail Lahaina
Spend a summer afternoon on the water with a Maui cruise that combines snorkeling, ocean play, dinner and sunset views. Offered from June through October, the trip heads into the clear leeward waters off Maui, where you may see Hawaiian green sea turtles, tropical fish and colorful reef life below the surface.
A marine naturalist joins the cruise to share information about Maui's marine environment, and the onboard waterslide adds an extra dose of fun between snorkeling sessions. After your time in the water, settle back on deck and enjoy the coastline as the afternoon light begins to soften toward sunset.
A freshly grilled BBQ meal is served on board, giving you time to relax, eat and enjoy the evening views before returning to harbor.

June 16 through August 31: Check in at 2:45 pm. Departs at 3:30 pm and returns at 7:30 pm.
September 1 through October 31: Check in at 1:45 pm. Departs at 2:30 pm and returns at 6:30 pm.

Restrictions
For safety reasons, the use of any full-face snorkel masks is not allowed. Pacific Whale Foundation provides high-quality snorkel gear for all guests.
Please use reef safe/mineral based sunscreen in accordance with the statewide ban on sunscreens that harm the reefs. Please read the ingredients list of your sunscreen as "reef-safe" is not a regulated term and sunscreens listed as such can have the following banned ingredients in them: oxybenzone, octinoxate, avobenzone, avobenzine, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. Reef-safe sunscreen can also be found in local stores or be purchased on board (4oz for $13, rate may change).
Wheelchairs: This vessel is NOT wheelchair accessible. The vessel has really high steps so it is not recommended even with assistance to board from another member of your group.

The Ocean Spirit was custom designed and features streamlined hulls and a spacious deck design, providing the ultimate in passenger comfort. The extra large deck offers plenty of outdoor seating. The vessel features his and her bathrooms, padded seating and a surround sound system. Although the Ocean Spirit has a capacity of 90 passengers, Pacific Whale Foundation limits the number of passengers by cruise type to provide an open yachting experience with plenty of room to relax.
