About Kauai Backcountry Adventures - Zipline Tour
Ride into private Kauai backcountry by four-wheel-drive adventure vehicle, then fly down a mountainside on 7 ziplines with lunch and a natural pool swim.
Climb into a four-wheel-drive adventure vehicle and rumble deep into 17,000 acres of former sugarcane land now reclaimed by rainforest. Your certified guide fills the ride with stories about Kauai's history, plants and wildlife until the first launch platform comes into view high on a mountainside.
After a quick lesson on gear and technique, you clip in and step off into open air. Seven separate ziplines whisk you across emerald treetops, above hidden valleys and toward distant ridgelines. Each flight brings a fresh rush of wind, birds-eye views of untouched jungle and plenty of whoops of excitement before you touch down on the valley floor.
The adventure ends with a well-earned picnic in a shady bamboo grove followed by a refreshing swim in a natural pool—nature's coolest way to rinse off the rainforest mist.

Restrictions
Participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 100-250 pounds (45-113 kg). All guests will weigh-in at check-in. Those outside the 100-250 pounds (45-113 kg) range will not be able to participate and will be responsible for full fare.
Children 12 to 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All minors must have a parent/guardian sign a waiver.
This tour is not recommended for those uncomfortable with heights or those who have back, hip or knee problems. Women who are in the first trimester of a pregnancy may participate with doctor's approval.
