About Rainbow Helicopters - Kona Coast Hualalai Volcano
Fly with Rainbow Helicopters on a Kona Coast Hualalai Volcano tour featuring Big Island shoreline views, lava-shaped landscapes and Hualalai volcano scenery.
Soon after departing Kona Airport, the vast blue of Kailua Bay meets ancient Kaloko fishponds and lively Alii Drive, painting a living tapestry of past and present along the coast. White-sand crescents such as Magic Sands glow against black-lava headlands, while emerald rows of Kona coffee sweep upslope toward the volcanic spine of Hualalai.
Following the shoreline south, the flight arcs over Kealakekua Bay, the Captain Cook Monument and the sacred haven of Honaunau before climbing to Kaupulehu Crater and the rugged summit ridges of Hualalai. The route then turns north above the rolling greenery of Puu Waawaa Forest Reserve and the turquoise shallows of Anaehoomalu and Kiholo Bays, with remote Makalawena Beach completing the panorama before touch-down.
