About Rainbow Helicopters - Coastal Sights Unseen
See the Kona Coast from above on a helicopter flight that combines shoreline scenery, historic landmarks and volcanic terrain. After departing from Kona Airport, the route follows the coast past the Kaloko fishponds, Kailua Bay and Alii Drive before continuing south toward Magic Sands Beach and the green slopes of Kona coffee country.
Farther along the coast, fly over Kealakekua Bay and the Captain Cook Monument before turning inland toward Hualalai, Kaupulehu Crater and the Puu Waawaa Forest Reserve. The return route brings you above Kiholo Bay and Makalawena Beach for another look at the contrast between black lava, turquoise water and white sand.
Doors Off Option: Keep the cabin enclosed for a more sheltered ride or choose doors off when booking for open views and unobstructed photo opportunities.

Restrictions
Due to FAA regulations, children 24 months and over require an individual full-fare seat. Any child under 24 months is welcome on the lap of a responsible adult at no charge.
For each passenger weighing 250-274 lbs (113-124 kg), a weight balance fee of an additional 50% is required. For each passenger weighing 275 lbs (124.7 kg) or more, a weight balance fee of an additional 100% is required. The maximum weight per passenger is 300 lbs (136 kg).

Rainbow Helicopters' fleet includes the Airbus AStar and the Robinson R44 helicopters. The Airbus AStar seats 6 guests and has a spacious and comfortable cabin and panoramic interior for optimum visibility. The Robinson R44 seats 3 guests (all window seats) and features an open cabin design, offering unobstructed views for great pictures.
