About Mauna Loa Helicopters - Private Waterfall Experience
Explore the Kohala Coast from above on a private helicopter charter reserved for up to four passengers. The flight heads toward Kohala's deep green valleys, where waterfalls drop down steep, rainforest-covered cliffs and remote stretches of coastline appear far below.
As you continue along the coast, you’ll see a mix of black-sand and white-sand beaches along with historic Hawaiian sites, including ancient village areas, heiau and traditional fishponds. Large cabin windows give everyone a clear view of the waterfalls, valleys and shoreline throughout the flight.

Restrictions
Minimum age: 7 years old
12 years and older can fly with the doors off.
All minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by and adult.
Weight restrictions: 285 lbs (129 kg) per person and group total cannot exceed 700 lbs (317 kg). Weights are taken at check-in. If weight exceeds limits, a $200 refueling fee will apply.
For doors off flights: No loose items on the flight. All items must be secured to you at all times.
Cancellations or delays to the flight are at the pilot's discretion for safety reasons. If the pilot cancels the flight prior to take off, rescheduling will take place or full refunds will be issued.
