Maui ash scatterings are available year-round. Vessels depart from Ma'alaea Harbor during the afternoon hours toward sunset, when the light softens across the water and the coastline takes on a quiet glow. Ash scatterings near Ka'anapali Beach and Lahaina are available as well.
Each package includes a private one-hour cruise and a Memorial Certificate. Your licensed captain and professional crew handle the ocean portion of the memorial with care and respect, leaving your family time for flowers, prayers, personal words or quiet reflection.

Where & When
Departure is on Maui. Exact check-in time, departure time, harbor or meeting location and directions will be listed on your voucher.
Please arrive on time for check-in. Late arrivals may shorten the charter or miss the departure and may not be eligible for a refund.
The ocean ceremony location is selected by the captain based on weather, ocean conditions, safety and vessel operations.
Restrictions
Charter route, timing and ceremony location may be adjusted due to weather, ocean conditions, harbor operations or captain discretion.
Guests must be able to board and exit the vessel safely using the boarding method required on the day of the charter.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Guests prone to motion sickness should consider taking precautions before departure.
No refunds are given for seasickness.
Only approved biodegradable flowers or ceremony items may be placed in the ocean. Plastics, wires, ribbons and non-biodegradable items are not allowed in the water.
Cremated remains must be handled respectfully and in accordance with applicable rules for scattering at sea.
Requirements
Bring your voucher, cremated remains in a suitable container, any approved biodegradable flowers or ceremony items, and comfortable shoes for boarding.

Hawaii excise tax and harbor fees (currently 8.712%) not included in pricing along with Captain and crew gratuities.
