And the views are spectacular, so bring your camera. Plus in season you'll probably see humpback whales, too. Sunset Sail 2 hours, times adjust for sunset Don't just watch the sunset -- be part of it. Heighten the romance of Maui's sunsets by sailing Hawaii's incredible blue waters -- for an evening you'll never forget. And probably whales, too, in season. Whale Watching Twice daily December 15 to April 15 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. For whale watching, America II is quieter and less crowded than the big boats and there's nothing to block your view. We'll still be sailing as much as we can (America II is one of the few boats in Maui that sails while whale watching). There are early and late morning tours.
