"Te Au Moana" - The Ocean Tide at Marriott Wailea Resort Featuring a lavish Hawaiian luau buffet and open bar serving tropical cocktails, a variety of interactive activities and the memorable Te Au Moana (The Ocean Tide) Show, presented in three acts at our Wailea, Maui resort. The Te Au Moana performs beachside at the Wailea Marriott Hotel. Sponsored by Tihati Productions who has been entertaining Hawaii for over 40 years Te Au Moana is their newest and finest Hawaii luau. With a beachside setting and spectacular sunsets this Maui luau is sure to be an evening to remember. Te Au Moana and Tihati Productions invite you to spend an evening in true Hawaiian style as the magic of Polynesia unfolds to the dance of ancient Hawaii. Journey through the South Pacific with the pulsating syncopated drum dances of Tahiti. Enjoy the ancient chants, the beauty and grace of the lovely hula girls; the rascal nature of the male hula dancers and warriors of New Zealand. Fall in love again to the romantic presentation of the "Hawaiian Wedding Song". Be mesmerized by the daring and skillful fire knife dance, the siva nifo oti. Finally, experience the true meaning of "ohana" or family as you are invited to join in and dance the "Tamure". As the evening begins you can enjoy there is a photo opportunity beachside with ancient hawaiian games, crafts and the Imu Ceremony to follow. Photos can be purchased after the conclusion of the luau.
