Pasefika The Hiva Pasefika is held beneath the exotic palms of the Luau Halau Pavilion, at Resortquest Kauai Beach At Makaiwa in Kapaa, Hawaii. After the ceremonial torch-lighting ceremony, you'll be treated to a lei greeting and will witness the unearthing of the traditional entree, Kalua Pig, from the underground oven in which it has been roasting. Then comes what you've been waiting for: the feast! You can indulge in every Polynesian delicacy available—from pork to poi to pineapple, to fresh island greens, taro potatoes and seafood—at the all-you-can-eat buffet, with drinks flowing freely from the open bar. You are invited to join us on the exciting journey of rediscovery from Tahiti to Hawaii, celebrating in the history, culture and people of this land of aloha! Relive the voyages through the pulsating syncopated drum dances of Tahiti, feel the spirit of the ancient Hawaiian chants, revel in the beauty and grace of the lovely hula girls telling their stories of Kauai and be entertained by the rascal nature of the male hula dances.
