 $65.00 per person. (TC K120-1) Call for Discounts! Early Morning pickups from several locations will be arranged The Van ride to Waimea Canyon is accompanied by relaxing music and conversation. When the Van reaches the Waimea Canyon lookout, the guests are fed a delicious breakfast of homemade muffins and tropical fruit at the canyon rim. A safety briefing is conducted and guests sign the waiver forms. The bikes, helmets, gloves and jackets are issued. Radio communication between the lead rider and the van is checked. |
The bikers began their descent. The guide rides in
front and sets the pace while the van follows behind the last cyclist
and protects the riders from traffic. It is a cruiser ride for site
seeing and we accomodate all types of riders,it's always a great
time for all. Three stops are made along the way to take photos, and the guide talks about the canyon, Nihau and the sugar cane industry. Sugar Cane The ride ends under a monkey pod tree in Kekaha. The equipment is loaded while the guest enjoy more food and beverages. Throughout the ride guests are encouraged to ask questions about our Island home. We arrive back before lunch and bid aloha to our new friends.  |

| BIKING TIPS It's great to do your ride on one of the first days on the Island when you are still on mainland time and getting up early anyway. Waimea is on the leeward side of the Island and gets very little rain. Rain where you are staying does not mean that it is raining in Waimea. Wear closed toed shoes! Height requirement is 4' 10". No pregnant women please. Wear protective eyewear: either sunglasses or perscription glasses! Plan to spend 4 hours with us. FOR YOUR COMFORT AND SAFETY: VAN - Comfortable, fully loaded, Ford Club Wagon 15 passenger van. BIKES - Zephyr one speed cruisers. BRAKES - State of the art drum brakes - they can cost as much as the bikes themselves. HELMETS - Approved, full faced, motorcycle safety helmets. GLOVES - Open finger bike gloves for comfort. RAIN JACKETS - Water Proofed and flannel lined just in case. |
